Perry Goad was killed serving God...While on a mission trip in Honduras.

Perry Died on February 6, 2007.....Still hurts! We miss him!

From Danny: Sharon and I had never planned nor dreamed about going to Honduras.
Well I guess God has a different plan, we won a Cruise to Honduras and will be leaving Miami Florida on 3 Jan 2011. We don't know if we can even get off the Ship. We both do know that we loved Perry and that we love our Lord Jesus Christ and will Glorify him now and when we arrive in Honduras. Our Daughter Danesa also won the trip but desided to not go, Danesa was more like a sister to her Uncle Perry. Not a day goes by that I don't think of Perry.

Perry, was a great father to his 3 children, Shay, his oldest son, Kendra, only daughter and his youngest son Adam.  Perry tragically died in an accident while on a mission trip in Honduras. This was Perry's 5th trip with his Church and Honduras Outreach HOI. Perry had a desire to help others and to tell them about Jesus Christ.

Perry grew up in the mountains of Tennessee. Perry's Father Raymond was a coal miner, Perry's Mother Eveyln Gibson Goad a homemaker, Older brother Danny did not grow up in the same household but could not be any closer than any two brothers, Older sister Barbara was the first to gradaute high school and was also very close to Perry, Next to oldest brother is Eddie who loved to work with Perry and they too we're very close, Younger brother Larry who Perry called "Beaver" were very close, The baby of the family is Trish, Perry and Trish were very close and Trish introduced Perry to was his wife Sharon. Sharon has now re-married.

Growing up poor did not provide Perry with the opportunities that some enjoy in life, but he made up for it by working hard to provide for his family. Perry had a dream that all of his children would be able to attend College and be presented with opportunites he never had.

All Perry's family and friends miss and loved him very much. Perry loved all of us and liked being near his family but he died many miles from his family and home doing as God tells us to do "Love Your Neighbor, Be Jesus Like, He said take me Lord and the Lord took him.
